Glass beer bottle blow sounding like the background "whoo" effect in the movies alien and blade runner. Mono. Old school spot effect. Helmholtz resonance using a partially-filled (for pitch tuning) glass beer bottle. The resulting tone was sampled, bandpass filtered, pitch bent and laid over a copy of the original sample. Reverb added post-effect to push the sound back and smooth out some nasty quantizing artefacts caused by the pitch bender.

An experiment in mashing up some voices/machinery into a musical (ish) soundscape.

Created this by messing around with the pickbass preset on fl studio's harmor.

Different frequencies of sounds from the radio transmission in the basement carpark resembling that of an alien-ish futuristic noises. Recorded using edirol r-09, 15cm from speakers.

This sound was recorded from me and i edited it by using audacity. I was trying to make a shooting noise but it went a little wrong, but i think it sounds cool so why not upload it to my favourite sound effect page?.

Elevator button sound with filters applied to make an alarm-sounding product. Designed to be played as a loop.

The spaceship portholes flashed of different coloured lights and let filter an increasing noise of tortured machines. Then it came a sudden explosion, so strong to lacerate the brain: an empty of white and yellow fire. Tones made with nch tone generator.

I recorded mostly nothing, then normalized it, so it was mostly loud static. I used audacity's noise remover to make the sound and it's wahwah effect to make it move across stereo space. Very interesting, good for static and alien voices.

Rubbing wet fingers against tupperware, resulting in a surprising variety of cricket-like chirps and squeaks.

I was just messing around in audacity, doing some things with a party noise maker sound effect, i slowed it down, put some reverb & echo, messed with the pitch a little bit, and got this! it's supposed to be kinda like "trumpets in the sky" and/or war of the worlds inspired.

Created this sample using only audacity. I started off by generating a square wave chirp between 10000 and 20000 hz on a mono track, copied this created a stereo track and messed around with timestretching and low pass filtering until i got the desired sound.
